Incredible experience!

From the start, the briefing was clear, with the guide who would take us so we could get to know him. Julio Choque was great and gave us confidence by answering any questions we had. The pick-up was on time, with comfortable seats on the vehicle. Good breakfast with plenty to choose from. Once we arrived at the start of the walk, it was done in parts so we could get used to the altitude. Once at the camp, we had a lovely lunch and some time to relax before the walk to the lake, Julio kept us motivated. It was hard but worth the effort to see Humantay lake, for the second day, my daughter and I decided to do it by horse while my husband did it with Julio. Once there, it was incredible to be at that

The 5-Day Premium Salkantay Trek was worth every penny. My expectations regarding lodging, food, and the trekking crew were exceeded. Salkantay Trekking takes care of every trip detail, allowing you just to hike and experience Peru. The food was unbelievable. Our chef, Eliaser, created fresh and delicious meals, and there were lots of them! Our sleeping and duffel bags were always waiting for us at the next camp, safe and dry. The best part of our trip was Fredy Chucya, our guide. He communicated clearly, was knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and went over and beyond taking care of all of our needs. His energy was infectious! I’m gonna miss that guy.

Trek of a lifetime!

A very good experience on the 5-day Salkantay Trek. “Salkantay Trekking” is definitely the superior provider for this trek - the accommodation was so unique and an experience I’ll never forget. Chef Ronaldo & Carlos made excellent food through out the whole trip - the meals were definitely a highlight. Our guide, Anthony, was very fun, knowledgeable and passionate and made sure everyone was happy and things ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend this trip.

The trek with this company was incredible. From the food and lodging, to the logistics and transportation everything was spot on and well planned. Our tour guide Fredy Chucya was hands down the best guide ever. He was knowledgeable, humble, and friendly. I did this with a group of friends and it was like we were hiking with a friend. He fit in so well with us. The company is lucky to have him. Our chef Eliezer was top notch. Great young man making delicious meals for us every day. Our porter Christian was awesome as well. I highly recommend this journey and if you can ask for Carlos the Mountain King as your guide, everything was spectacular. The food was great. He took care of us throughout the whole trip and saw the most amazing things and learned exactly what Machu Picchu’s history is all about everything was explained in detail ! 10/10
